Tej Brar her career as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse and gained extensive experience by working with public hospitals such as Eastern Health and Alfred Health over 9 years. She has completed a graduate diploma leading to a Master’s in Mental Health Nursing.

Currently, Tej is working as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner where she develops personalized behaviour support plans for her clients. Her professional expertise is working with people who have mental illness, functional and developmental disabilities. She possesses evidence-based knowledge in healthcare safety for enhancing client’s quality of life. She gained experience in management roles as well as working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders where she managed employees and provided trauma-informed care to participants and their families.
